DarmoweSondy.pl was built on the principle that we do not collect personal data from respondents. Below we describe what information we process and why. This document must be reviewed by a lawyer before the service goes into production use.
Controller
The controller of user account data is IT-Poland Jacek Pecko (https://it-poland.com), 05-135 Wieliszew, Willowa 2, NIP: 568-148-94-23. Contact: [email protected].
Respondents (people who fill in surveys)
- We store answers anonymously – without an IP address, device identifier, account or browser data.
- To limit spam, we count submissions using a one-way hash (HMAC) of the IP address, created with a key that changes every day. The hash cannot be used to recover the address and is deleted after 24 hours at the latest.
- After a survey has been completed, we store a technical cookie
ds_done_…in your browser, which prevents repeated voting. It contains no data about the respondent. - Survey authors may not collect personal data (this ban follows from the terms of service). If a survey asks for it anyway, report it with the “Report a violation” button.
Users with an account
- We process your email address, your hashed password, an optional display name and the dates of account creation and last login – solely to provide the service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- We keep this data until the account is deleted. You can delete your account yourself in the settings.
- As a data subject you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), the Polish supervisory authority.
Cookies
ds_session– the session of a logged-in user and form protection (necessary).ds_done_…– information that a survey has already been completed in this browser (necessary).- Advertising cookies of partners (for example Google) – only after you give consent in the consent management window.
Advertising
The service is free of charge thanks to advertising. Advertising partners may process information about your device in line with their own policies and only within the scope of the consent you have given. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Fonts
We load the fonts used in surveys from Bunny Fonts, a service that does not store visitors’ IP addresses.
Google Analytics, Google ads and consent management
On public pages we use Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics and Google AdSense to display ads. Google services may process information about your device, your browser and your use of the website. The anonymity of answers stored in our database does not mean that data processed by external advertising and analytics providers is anonymous.
In regions covered by the consent notice, we start Google Analytics only after you consent to analytics. Advertising data and cookies are handled according to the decisions passed on by Google’s consent platform. Outside those regions, measurement may run when Google’s platform reports that the consent requirement does not apply. A missing or invalid consent signal blocks analytics.
We do not send survey answers, content or titles, email addresses, tokens or account identifiers to Analytics. Measurement does not cover the user panel, the administration area, login, password reset, previews or surveys embedded on other websites. Survey addresses in statistics are replaced with a common path.
You can change your preferences with the “Privacy settings” button in the footer of the page. After changing your choice, refresh the page to restart measurement in line with your new decision. More: how Google uses data from sites or apps that use its services.
