Yes. Creating surveys, polls and live quizzes, collecting responses, viewing results and exporting data are free. The service is funded by ads shown next to surveys.
Can I use it for a thesis or dissertation survey?
Yes. The multi-page survey has a progress bar, demographics, Likert scale tables and open questions. Download the results as CSV with numeric codes and a codebook – ready for SPSS, Statistica, R or Excel.
Do respondents have to sign up?
No. Respondents open the link or scan the QR code and fill in the survey right away – on a computer or a phone.
Do you collect respondents' personal data?
No. Survey responses are anonymous – we do not store IP addresses or device identifiers. In live quizzes a participant only enters a nickname. The terms forbid survey authors from asking for personal data.
Can I customize how my survey looks?
Yes. Pick a ready-made theme or set your own colors, fonts and rounded corners, and add the logo of your university, company or organization.
How do I run a live quiz at a training or presentation?
Create a quiz in the "Live" tab, open the screen link on the computer connected to the projector and click "Start session". Participants join on their phones at darmowesondy.pl/live with the code from the screen and a nickname. You advance the questions and show results from your phone, keyboard or a presentation clicker.
Do live quiz participants have to install an app?
No. A phone browser is enough – no app and no account. Participants enter the code at darmowesondy.pl/live or scan the QR code on the presenter's screen.
How many people can join a live quiz?
Up to 2,000 people in one session. After the session you can download the leaderboard and every participant's answers as a CSV file.
How do I add a poll to my website?
In the "Share" tab you can copy the link, download a QR code or copy a ready-made embed code to place the poll on your website.
Can I export results to Excel, SPSS or R?
Yes. Export a CSV file (UTF-8) with answer labels or with numeric codes and a codebook, and open it in Excel, SPSS, Statistica or R.
